Alejandro is an Audit & Assurance Partner with over 16 years of experience in Big 4 firms, excelling in managing the SOX business unit, where he leads sales goals, profitability targets, and resource planning. He has led SOX readiness projects, including management testing, RCM design, root cause analysis, and remediations for SEC clients.

With extensive experience in integrated financial statement audits under PCAOB, AICPA, and ISA standards, and presented under IFRS and US GAAP, he has worked in markets such as Venezuela, the United States (Nashville), and Colombia.

As a coach for PCAOB audit teams, he has collaborated with direct issuers (10-K and 20-F) and significant components across various Latin American countries, leading initiatives such as the Americas Center of Excellence for Audit Quality (ACOE) and the S-LATAM PCAOB COE.

Additionally, he has served as a Team Leader in inspections for the Global Center of Excellence (GCoE) and Audit Quality Monitoring and Measurement (AQMM) for PCAOB engagements in America, Europe, and Asia, having been inspected by the PCAOB twice without receiving Part I comments. His career also includes his role as a former professor in IFRS diploma programs at UCAB.
